The instrumental character of this object is ambivalent, at the same time a portable sculpture, jewel and tool. By multiplying it, each of the possible owners has the choice of its use, in a metaphorical or a concrete way. The scale of the sculpture, miniaturised in relation to the human body, suggests the possibility of its expansion.
